Kalinin NPP Admits 17 Young Professionals

17 graduates of higher educational institutions have been recruited as a part of the staff of Kalinin nuclear power plant. The traditional contest on recruitment of young professionals took place on August 14. An interview with graduates of specialized institutions was held by the committee led by Director of Kalinin NPP, Mikhail Kanyshev.

In the contest of young professionals the participated were the yesterday students of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Ivanovo State Power Engineering University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, and technical universities of St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Tver.

Following the results of the contest, the candidates have been distributed on the enterprise subdivisions. The majority of young professionals will start their career development in the Reactor Shop 1, Turbine Shop 2, thermal instrumentation and control shop, electric shop and centralized repair shop.

Mikhail Kanyshev, congratulating the young professionals with the job acquiring, wished them success in the vocational activity, further knowledge improvement and implementation of the evolved plans. Kalinin NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The Plant is situated on the north of the Tver Region in Udomelsk district. Kalinin NPP includes four power units with pressurized water reactors (VVER-1000) each one having the installed capacity of 1,000 MW.
