In March Kursk NPP has generated over 2.517 bln kWh of electric power
In March, 2012 the power units of Kursk NPP have generated over 2.517 bln kWh of electric power. The month target is implemented for 104 %.
The unit capability factor has made 84.6 % at the plan of 81.35 %.
In total since the startup in 1976, Kursk NPP has been generating 728 bln 401.938 mln kWh of electric power.
At present time there are operated the power units No.3 and 4. The units work at a capacity rated by the dispatch schedule. Since February 15 of the current year the power unit No.2 has been under the scheduled maintenance. The power unit No.1 has been under the scheduled midlife maintenance since April 3.
The radiation background in the area of the plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
