In March Kalinino NPP has hit the target on electric power generation for 103.7 %

In March, 2012 the power units of Kalinino NPP (the Tver region) have generated 2.326 bln kWh of electric power (which amounts to 103.7 % of the plan target of the Federal Tariff Service).

The power system received 2.220 bln kWh of electric power (105.9 %).
The unit capability factor (UCF) in March has made 102.21 % (at the plan of 98.52 %).

The radiation background in the area of the plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.

Kalinino NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The Plant is situated on the north of the Tver Region in Udomelsk district. Kalinino NPP includes four power units with pressurized water reactors (VVER-1000) each one having a capacity of 1000 MW. Implementation of a multistage program of the energy start-up continues its realization on the 4th power unit, which start-up took place on November 2011.

On line detailed data on the radiation environment near nuclear power plants in Russia and other nuclear facilities is provided on site russianatom.ru
