In April Kursk NPP Generates over 1,568 Billion kWh of Electric Power
In April 2012 Kursk NPP units have generated 1 billion 568,8 million kWh of electric power. Consumers have got 1 billion 448,2 million kWh.
In total since the moment of its startup in 1976, Kursk NPP has generated over 729 billion 970,759 million kWh of electric power.
Currently, the nuclear power plant operates Units 2, 3 and 4. They operate at the capacity corresponding to the dispatch schedule. Since April 3 of the current year, Unit 1 has been being under the scheduled midlife repair.
The radiation background at the nuclear power plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
