Bilibino NPP: TG-2 of power unit No. 2 has been connected to the grid
On June 25, 2011 at 11:29 a.m. TG-2 of power unit No. 2 of Bilibino NPP was connected to the grid. Due to dispatch limitations power unit No. 2 had been in ТcoldУ reserve for 15 days.
As of June 27 Bilibino NPP operates power unit Nos. 1 and 2. The dispatch task is being fulfilled.
Power unit No. 3 is kept in Тcold reserveУ due to dispatch limitations. Power unit No. 4 is under scheduled preventive major repair.
The radiation background at the plant and in adjacent area corresponds to the level of normal operation of power units and does not exceed the natural background values.
