Balakovo NPP: the plan for June has been fulfilled by 101.3 per cent
Balakovo NPP has fulfilled the target for June by 101.3 per cent. In June the plant generated 2,335,227.696 thousand kWh of electric power.
The utilization factor of maximum capacity amounted to 80.06%.
At present power units Nos. 2 and 4 are operating in the normal mode. Since 8.06.2011 power unit No. 1 has been under scheduled repair and since 01.07.2011 power unit No. 3 has been under routine repair.
The radiation background in the area of Balakovo nuclear power plant location has not changed and the radiation background values correspond to natural values being typical for the European Part of Russia for many years.
