More than 70 children of workers of Balakovo NPP spent the first summer month in the childrenХs campus ТSolnyshkoУ, traditionally organized by the trade union committee of the nuclear power plant on basis of their affiliated clubs ТElectronicУ and ТDisplayУ.



ТThe sports events, cultural program, ultimate nutrition, fresh air and exercise, proper medical services Р everything necessary was organized for the preservation of life and health of children and organization of their creative and sports leisure,У said Director of the Cultural Centre ТAntaresУ under the trade union committee, Zoya Yulina.

During the summer shift the choreographers of the Cultural Centre of the plant introduced to the children an art of dancing, the musicians rehearsed the popular songs, performed collective rehearsals under the guitar. Amazing childrenХs paintings on subject ТMy FantasyУ and ТWho Lives on the Bottom of the Sea?У were decorated with a large exhibition in the prefunction of the childrenХs clubs. 

New experience for the children of nuclear engineers were entertaining lessons in the circle ТOrigamiУ. By the end of the shift they collected a large exhibition of handcraft paper items: with the help of skilled childish hands there were born fantastic castles and multicolored forest animals. Much time the kids spent in the library, where they took part in the cognitive quiz on the tales of A. Pushkin and talk about the young heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

Boys and girls every day participated in running races, long jumps from the place and lifting of the body, played chess and draughts. The young athletes received memorable name certificates. Amazing impressions were left by the lessons of coach of the ТFiestaУ circus studio, Andrey Kazakov. He showed to the children the elements of acrobatics and juggling, held ТMerry StartsУ and competitions on darts, golf and bowling.

Busy cultural and entertaining program expected the children: visiting the cinema ТMirУ on the cartoon ТMadagascar-3DУ, performance ТThe CatХs HouseУ of the childrenХs musical and drama theatre ТVersiyaУ, performances of Balakovo drama theatre ТMymrenokУ and ТThe Tale about the Tsar SoltanУ.

The children rested, got a lot of fun, impressions, got acquainted with each other and made friends, and now they impatiently wait for the new meetings.
