The team of pop choreography dance-show ТMaximumУ of the cultural centre ТAntaresУ of Balakovo NPP trade union committee has successfully performed at the International Festival of Pop Art ТThe Starry CrimeaУ, which annually opens out its arms to talented boys and girls.



The Festival, the twentieth in succession, passed in 19-27 June in Yalta. The participated were the young artists from Russia, Ukraine, CIS and far-abroad countries. 14 atomic children from Balakovo at the age of 9 to 13 years old went to conquer the international stage. It was their first far trip, which has brought to them the first major award as the dance-show ТMaximumУ team has become the 1st prize winner.  

ТThe children got the victory not easy. During the month every day we rehearsed for 3-4 hours,У told Head of the dance team, Natalia Shulik. ТCricking in the train and night working out of competitive dances in Yalta will be remembered by the young dancers for a lifetime. All the jury members marked the team spirit and performance ability of Balakovo residents. We danced the last dance almost at midnight. The children have showed that they were real artists: despite being tired, they danced in full force and smiled from the heart.У



In addition to winning, the soloists of the dance-show ТMaximumУ brought from the Festival the whole baggage of impressions of walking along the quay of Yalta, visiting the aquaplay, glade of tales and the zoo. Also the children will always remind the master-classes on step dance given by the French choreographer, Festival jury member Р Ilya Alex.
