Balakovo NPP Hits Target of April on Electric Power Generation for 104.4 %
In April 2012 Balakovo NPP worked safely and reliably. It has produced more than 3,007 billion kWh of electric power. The planned target of the Federal Tariff Service of Russia is implemented for 104.4 %.
Thus, the production in excess of the plan has made 127 million kWh of electric power.
The Installed Capacity Utilization Factor (ICUF) in April amounted to 104.4%.
Currently, Balakovo NPP operates four power units. The radiation background at the nuclear power plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the level of power unitsХ normal operation and does not exceed the natural environmental values.
