On June 5, 2012 within the framework of the third stage of the project Awareness Days, the management of Balakovo NPP met with the young workers and specialists in order to tell them about the latest news of the nuclear power industry development in general, and the plant in particular, as well as to answer the issues exercising the youth.

During the Awareness Day, Director of Balakovo NPP, Viktor Ignatov, stressed that the objective of the event was not only to provide complete and transparent information on the plans, trends and prospects of the development of Rosatom State Corporation and Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC, but also seeking feedback from young professionals.

 ТWe intentionally did not invite today chiefs of workshops and subdivisions so that you could openly identify the problems, if such exist, directly in front of the top management,У V.Ignatov addressed to the young nuclear engineers. That day Head of the Production Technology Department, Andrey Igonin, Head of the Social Development Department, Yelena Gorbacheva, Head of the Department for Staff Development, Roman Mikhailov, and Chairman of the Youth Organization of Balakovo NPP, Denis Yermolayev, delivered information to the young workers. Everyone spoke on the outcome of work in own area for the past five months of the year, prospects for the whole 2012, as well as answered the questions of the people assembled.

It turned out that most of all the ТatomicУ youth was interested in the issues of social matter: providing with housing, rehabilitation, health resort treatment, as well as the possibilities of non-government programs existing within the Corporation. 

Yelena Gorbacheva noted that the development was gained by all those three areas of work. For example, if the previous year the loans for housing were received by 33 employees of the plant, then the current year double the figure was planned.

To help in solving the housing problems of the young workers of the plant, the enterprise spends a lot of money. Only for five months of this year to pay the interest on the mortgage lending of its employees, the plant issued 465 thousand rubles.

In conclusion, the participants of the meeting knew, to say so, Тfrom the horseХs mouthУ on the results of work of the industry for the last year, success achieved and problems, which had to be solved yet - from the video of addressing of General Director of Rosatom, Sergey Kiriyenko, on the conference of heads of the Corporation, which took place on May 18 in Zavidovo. Head of Rosatom also spoke on the mechanism of processing the answers to actual questions received by the State Corporation.

As a result of the Awareness Day, at Balakovo NPP after all the planned meetings there will be formed new issues from Balakovo nuclear engineers. And those issues, which are not in the competence level of the plant, will be sent for consideration to the top management of the Concern and industry.
