Transport trestle crane equipment electrical installation has been completed at the new Leningrad NPP power block construction site. Meanwhile, the workers have also laid the feeding cable powering the lifting mechanism from this mechanism itself into the security building and to the standby diesel power plant.

During the period of April 29 – March 4 the World Association of Nuclear Operators Moscow Regional Center’s technical support mission took place on the subject “Systems engineering organization and operation at the NPP engineering support service” at the Balakovo NPP. It was initiated by the nuclear power plant representatives interested in studying the industry’s best practices.

The Leningrad NPP: reactor building rigging works are nearing completion at the power block No.1 under construction
The reactor building rigging works are nearing completion at the Leningrad NPP power block No.1 currently under construction. The contracting company is still to complete a number of works on the final monolithic armored floor installation, which is to be placed graded from the external containment between the marks of +67,750 m and +68,750 m.
