Kalinin NPP: Rosatom's General Inspectorate confirms compliance with safety and quality requirements for the construction of the Data Centre
The fulfilment of the quality and safety requirements during the construction of the Phase II Data Centre facilities is at a satisfactory level. This assessment was given by the Commission of the General Inspectorate of Rosatom State Corporation during the inspection, which took place at Kalinin NPP from 23 July to 27 July, 2018.

At the innovative VVER-1200 power unit No 2 under construction of Leningrad NPP the electrical works are being carried out at the polar crane: the specialists of the contracting organization connected the crane cab to the electrical network and laid electric cables to the service platform and bridge.

The world’s first floating power unit Akademik Lomonosov, designed for energy supply to Chukotka, has started loading nuclear fuel into its reactors
On 24 July, 2018, the world's only floating nuclear power unit (FNPU) Akademik Lomonosov located at the site of Atomflot FSUE (Rosatom’s subsidiary) in Murmansk, started loading nuclear fuel into the reactors. The readiness to start the loading activity was confirmed by Rostekhnadzor the day before.

Three dozens of Vietnamese students receiving a degree in nuclear energy at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University underwent the work experience internship in the Training Department of Leningrad NPP under construction. Two-week training was conducted in groups focused on various areas.
