The Beloyarsk NPP: the power unit 4th turbine placed on shaft turning

On November 26, 2014 it was made one of the most important stages of preparation for power start - setting turbine at shaft turning - at 18 o'clock on the launch power unit №4 of the Beloyarsk NPP (Zarechny, Sverdlovsk region).

Large fire-tactical exercises passed at the Beloyarsk NPP

From 5th of November to 6th, 2014 routine fire and tactical training and educational-methodical collection of the Ural Regional Emergency Center of the Russian Federation with the heads of the fire and rescue units for the protection of Russian nuclear power plants underwent at the Beloyarsk NPP.

The Beloyarsk NPP: the BN-600 launched at nominal power

The power unit №3 with the reactor BN-600 was injected into the nominal power level. From October 16 the power unit suspended its work because of the planned activities: refueling, inspection and maintenance of equipment.

The Beloyarsk NPP: BN-600 resumes work

On October 29, 2014 launching operations were started at the power unit №3 with the reactor BN-600 of the Beloyarsk, its work has been suspended in connection with the planned activities since October 16: refueling, inspection and maintenance of equipment.

The fire tactical exercises will take place at the Beloyarsk NPP

In the period from November 5-6, 2014 the plan tactical fire exercises, as well as educational and methodical collection of the Ural Regional Emergency Center of the Russian Federation with the heads of the fire and rescue units for the protection of Russian nuclear power plants, will take place at the Beloyarsk NPP.

Results of the survey showed overwhelming positive attitude of the inhabitants of the Sverdlovsk region to the power plant, it was noted in 75% of respondents in the region and 96% in the satellite town Beloyarsk Zarechnoe.

Between 28 and 31 October 2014 the Beloyarskaya NPP command post exercise, organized by the Ural regional command of internal troops of the Russian Interior Ministry, will be scheduled in the vicinity of the nuclear power plant.

The Beloyarsk NPP: occupational safety and health of personnel is at the level of world standards

Auditors from the Certification Association "Russian Register" confirmed the compliance of the occupational safety and health (OHSAS) management system, which operates at the Beloyarsk NPP, with requirements of the international standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).

On September 12, 2014 scheduled complex exercises for working out actions of control departments, capabilities for localization and liquidation of consequences of the conditional contingency for waterworks at the Beloyarsk NPP.
