Beloyarsk NPP: AtomTeploElektroSet has been included into the municipal structure of Zarechny City

AtomTeploElektroSet LLC (a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC) intends to become the only heating supplier in Zarechny City of Sverdlovsk Region of Beloyarsk NPP location, in order to make the production of thermal power between the nuclear plant and the city boiler-room balanced, regulate finance flows and also provide the proper maintenance for heating and electric nets.

Beloyarsk NPP: youth ecological voluntary area cleaning has been held

On May 6, at the initiative of Beloyarsk NPP management and trade union committee a traditional ecologic area cleaning was held. The atomists have already made cleaning twice this spring – put out rubbish from the coastline of Beloyarsk reservoir and from the area adjacent to the road.

Beloyarsk NPP: the monthly plan has been fulfilled by 104%

On April 13, 2011 Beloyarsk NPP BN-600 power unit suspended electric power generation in connection with the scheduled activities: fuel reload and the equipment inspection and modernization. The works are supposed to be carried put up to the middle of June.

Beloyarsk nuclear scientists have participated in the rescue of fishermen

On April 16, at 5:10 p.m. the duty operator of the Department of Internal Affairs of Zarechny urban district (Sverdlovsk region) informed the Security Service of Beloyarsk NPP that an ice floe with fishermen on it had split off in the water area of Beloyarsk Reservoir in the vicinity of “Cheshuyki” recreation center.
