The third power unit of the Bilibino NPP was disconnected from the network and shut down for refueling and conducting preventative overhaul on October 16:00 hours 58 minutes local time. The planned average repair with duration of 60 days will last until December 14.
 
In accordance with an annual schedule, there will be done repairs of the reactor and turbine equipment, electrical and auxiliary equipment.

Repairs are carried out in accordance with approved plans and schedules of repair, bills of quantities for repair of the units, according to the requirements of normative and technical documentation of the  JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" and the Bilibino NPP.

There are operating power units №1, 2, 4 of the nuclear power plant at the moment. Dispatch task is being done.

The radiation background corresponds to the normal operation of power units and does not exceed natural background values at the plant and adjacent territory.
