On July 26 at 18 h 15 min. the power unit ?3 of the Kalinin nuclear power plant was connected to the grid after completing the maintenance.

Enabling of power was carried out in accordance with the requirements of technological regulations and instructions.

There are four power units in work at the moment on the Kalinin NPP. Radiation background in the vicinity of the nuclear power plant and the adjacent territory corresponds to the normal operation of power, and does not exceed the natural background values.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
