There are three power units in work at the Smolensk NPP. The total capacity is 2970 megawatts. There are no comments to the work of the equipment.

During 21 day in July the Smolensk NPP power units have developed one billion 273 million kilowatt hours of electricity. Since the beginning of the year they have produced 12 billion kilowatt hours of 24 million, over the plan - 447 million kilowatt hours.

The radiation background on an industrial platform of the Smolensk nuclear power plant and the surrounding territory hasn't changed and corresponds to natural values.

The Smolensk nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". SAES annually issues in a country power supply system on the average about 20 billion kilowatts of hours of the electric power that constitutes about 13% of the energy developed in Rosenergoatom concern, and more than 80%, the Smolensk region made by the power entities.
