The Rosenergoatom Concern’s annual report made it into the shortlist of the Second international advertisement festival Ad Black Sea 2016

The Rosenergoatom Concern’s 2015 report made it to the shortlist of the Second international advertisement and design festival Ad Black Sea 2016 that was held in Batumi on September 25, 2016.

The report was highlighted in the “In-house publications / Catalogues” nomination (Editorial/Books/Corporate/Publishing/ Catalogues).

This year, 727 pieces of work were submitted to the festival, 101 of them receiving awards. The Ad Black Sea 2016 hosted 7 competitions: Film&Radio, Film&Radio Craft, Print&Poster, Design&Branding, Digital&Mobile, Media, Advertising campaigns.

The distinguished advertising specialists headed by Catalin Dobre, the 28-times award winner of the Cannes Lions and the executive creative director of McCann Erickson Bucharest (Romania), evaluated the works submitted.   

According to the organizers, the Russian companies were competitive enough against their European counterparts and received over 75 awards. Besides, the Russian advertising specialists claimed special prizes in 5 nominations, 18 golden awards, 22 silver prizes, and over 33 bronze ones.

The Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC comprises all 10 nuclear power plants in Russia bearing the Concern affiliate status, as well as the enterprises catering for the generating company’s operations. In total 34 power blocks are in operation on 10 nuclear power plants (excluding the 4th block of the Beloyarsk NPP (BN-800) and the 6th block of the Novovoronezh NPP which are at the stage of trial operation at the moment): 18 - with VVER-type reactors (including 12 power blocks with VVER-1000 and 6 power blocks with VVER-440 of different versions); 15 – with channel reactors (11 power blocks with RBMK-type reactors, 4 power blocks with EGP-6 reactors); 1 power block with a sodium-cooled fast reactor (BN-600). The total installed capacity of all power blocks is 26.24 GW.

At the moment, the Rosenergoatom NPPs account for 18.6% of the whole electricity output in the country.
