Technical round of young specialists of JSC «Atomenergoproekt» took place on the Kursk nuclear power plant on September 25-26, 2013.

The visit purpose is acquaintance with practical implementation of resources prolongation questions of power units RBMK safety and reliability and experience exchange of channel reactors operation.

The group from 27 specialists of one of the main engineering companies of the nuclear industry which is engaged in designing and construction of nuclear stations, visited production objects of the Kursk nuclear power plant. Among them were block control panel, central hall, rooms of the main circulation pulsers of the power unit No. 3, machine hall, educational and training center. Guests inspected the equipment and got acquainted with work and personnel training. Experience exchange was carried out with them by specialists of the nuclear power plant.

«All members of our group visited the Kursk nuclear power plant for the first time, - the head of JSC «Atomenergoproekt» specialists, the chief of complex designing bureau of the nuclear power plant with RBMK Mikhail Osokin reported. - Therefore impressions are the brightest, and the acquired information is extremely useful to professional formation of our workers. The understanding of how project decisions developed in our bureau are implemented, undoubtedly, will positively affect on their quality».
