The Kolskaya nuclear power plant: in September over 861 million kWh of the electric power developed

The Kolskaya nuclear power plant developed 861,1 million kWh in September, 2013 that on 128,5 million kWh is more, than for the similar period of last year.

Total development for 2013 constitutes 7165,5 million kWh.

In total from the moment of the nuclear power plant start-up more than 366 billion kWh of the electric power have been developed.

As of October 1, 2013 there are all four power units in work. According to the dispatching schedule loading of station constitutes 1341,1 MWt.

The radiation situation around an arrangement of the Kolskaya nuclear power plant and in a 30-kilometer zone of supervision doesn't differ from a natural natural background.

The Kolskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in 200 km to the South from Murmansk on the shore of the Lake Imandra. It develops about 60% of the electric power of Murmansk region. There are 4 power units in operation with reactors of type VVER 440 MW each. The Kolskaya nuclear power plant is the supplier of the electric power for Murmansk region and Karelia.
