The Concern’s new construction site – the Data processing center – has been announced

The Rosenergoatom Concern’s new construction site – the Data processing center – has been announced at the Concern’s website in the “Reference Data processing center” section.

The Center will be located in the city of Udomlia of the Tver Region, next to the Kalinin nuclear power station, with the latter supposed to supply it with electric power.

The Data processing center in Udomlia might become the largest one in the country, and its intake power will potentially come up to 80 megawatts. The fact that the center will be based next to the Kalinin NPP will enable it to have its own independent, reliable, and powerful source of electric power.

The first order of the Data processing center (the halls for 800 commercial standard stands) is supposed to be commissioned in June 2017, with the second one to follow in June 2018. This project is implemented jointly with the PJSC Rostelecom.
