The Day of the elderly person station is celebrated by the charitable share – «Time to live»  by good tradition at the Baltic nuclear power plant.

On the eve of the Day of the elderly person about 70 unemployed pensioners and veterans, who live in the Neman area, received permits on rest on recreation facility in pine pine forest near the settlement named Big village.

Organizers of the country rest, Council of veterans of the Neman area and Management of the Baltic nuclear power plant under construction painted it by minutes: physical exsercises, creative evenings, tenders of amateur performance and even lecture on pension literacy.

Thanks to participation of nuclear scientists, in one of days vacationers visited with excursion Sacredly the Elisavetinsky female monastery in the city of Slavsk. According to the chairman of Neman Council of veterans Zynaida Vasilyeva, this trip became for pensioners the brightest impression of all the project «Time to Live».

«Now, when in the territory of the Neman municipal area there is the nuclear station is under construction, we have an opportunity to develop successfully, it is both fullness of the budget, and a high level of responsibility in the solution of tasks facing us, and further social and economic of the whole  area. And, certainly, the invaluable help to veterans of the Neman area», - added the chairman of the veterans board Zynaida Vasilyeva.

To congratulate the senior generation there arrived acting directors of the Baltic nuclear power plant Vitaly Trutnev. The guest was welcomed with bread and salt and songs. The head of the nuclear station wasn't in debt – Vitaly Alekseevich brought pies for a festive dinner. He expressed to elderly people words of gratitude:

«You protected our Homeland during terrible years of the War, in difficult post war years recovered the industry, agricultural industry, increased power of the country. Thank you for it!», - Vitaly Alekseevich told.

In the response word, Zynaida Vasilyeva told about joint projects of the veterans Council and the Baltic nuclear scientists. It and annual motor rallies in places of fighting glory on the eve of May 9, the address help to veterans, «Memory watches» and many other things.
