Kalinin NPP Sums Up Online Contest ТMan of LabourУ
The Public Information Centre of Kalinin NPP spent online contest ТMan of LabourУ among citizens of the Tver region, which has been held during May on the website of the Tver Information Agency.
The event was held within the program of celebration of the 20th anniversary of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.
The target of the contest was to accentuate the importance of creative labour, express respect to people of labour trades, whose strength, experience, knowledge and skills underlie the development of various branches of industry and well-being of the society in general.
In total about 50 works were submitted to the contest.
In summing up, the views of the members of the jury and participants of the online voting coincided. The winner of the prize from Kalinin NPP was 11-year-old Aleksander Kutchiev (Udomlya). He submitted a series of photographs to the contest with a story about his grandmother Р a veteran of work, homefront worker during the Great Patriotic War, and Тtoiler throughout her lifeУ, as the author wrote in his work.
The audience choice award according to the results of the online voting went to Tatiana Tsyrubalko (Tver). She submitted to the contest a collage ТDynasty of Workers: a Grandfather, Father and SonУ. The representatives of three generations of the family belong to different occupations, although they all share love and respect to labour.
In addition, the organizational committee awarded recognition gifts to a number of participants for distinctiveness of the works and creative approach.
The ceremonies of awarding of the winners will take place on June 8 in the Public Information Centre of Kalinin NPP (Udomlya) and on June 18 at the editorsХ office of the Tver Information Agency (Tver).
Kalinin NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The Plant is situated on the north of the Tver Region in Udomelsk district. Kalinin NPP includes four power units with pressurized water reactors (VVER-1000) each one having the installed capacity of 1,000 MW. Implementation of the stage ТPilot OperationУ continues its realization on the 4th power unit, which start-up took place in November 2011.
