Kalinin NPP Approves Corporate Agreement of Rosenergoatom Concern for 2012-2014

On May 31, 2012 Kalinin NPP hosted a conference of Rosenergoatom Concern staff. During the conference there was approved a Corporate Agreement of Rosenergoatom Concern in labour and social relations for 2012-2014.

The participated in the conference were General Director of the Concern, Yevgeniy Romanov, Director for Staff Management, Social and Managerial Issues, Jumberi Tkebuchava, Chairman of the Russian Trade Union of Nuclear Power Engineering and Industry Employees, Igor Fomichev, Chairman of the Trade Unions Association of Employees of Nuclear Power Plants and the Central Office of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC, Yuriy Babenko, as well as representatives of the Central Office of the Concern, managers and elected delegates of staffs of nuclear power plants, and managers of trade union organizations.

The participants read and acknowledged the Corporate Agreement as fulfilled in the field of labour and social relations for 2011.

Among the most important results of the last year, J.Tkebuchava highlighted the stable positive momentum of wages increase. ТThe level of average wages of employees of operating nuclear power plants, reached in 2011, exceeds the average wages 2,5-3 times in the region of location of nuclear power plants, and is 8-9 times higher than the minimum of subsistence established in these regions,У he said.  

Particular attention was paid to the principle of Тnon-reduction of the reached level of assuranceУ, which became the basis for the Corporate Agreement for 2012-2014.
The proposals, made by the delegates while approving the new Corporate Agreement, will be summarized and there will be worked out a plan of actions to implement them, which will be sent to nuclear power plants for the personnel to familiarize with it.

Kalinin NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The Plant is situated on the north of the Tver Region in Udomelsk district. Kalinin NPP includes four power units with pressurized water reactors (VVER-1000) each one having the installed capacity of 1,000 MW. Implementation of the stage ТPilot OperationУ continues its realization on the 4th power unit, which start-up took place in November 2011.
