Bilibino nuclear engineers in honor of the Independence Day of Russia have traditionally spent last summer ТvacationsУ Р the longest weekend - on the water.

Annually, for the past two decades, enthusiasts of outdoor activities and extreme sports have been involved in a flashy river rafting. Bilibino NPP trade union organization has purchased the necessary for these aims outfit.



The waterway track of 90 km in length refers to the third level of difficulty of flotation. The number of the float participants this year has become record-breaking and made up 85 people, more than a half of which are the nuclear power plant employees.

The departure point is located at 140 km from the city Bilibino, which is almost 4 hours of severe Chukot roads. Such a task can be solved only by ТheavyУ vehicles: 2 all-terrain buses KAMAZ, ZIL, 4 offroadsters and an on-board Ural, which contained only equipment, delivered the rafters to the place of destination. 



 Within three days of rafting, the vacationists could enjoy the landscapes of wildlife, fishing, hunting and field kitchen. All was accompanied by the sunny and warm weather, positive moods of the tight-knit team of nuclear engineers. The pictures taken at the time of the rafting will not only remind about the interesting moments of the nuclear engineersХ life, but also will catch interest and initiate young professionals and workers to outdoor exercise.
