The Rosenergoatom Joint-Stock Company (as part of the Electric power division of the Rosatom State Corporation) has completed the testing of a virtual simulator prototype designed to train the electrotechnical personnel of the company. The automated heat monitoring system is in place to measure the body temperature of the Kursk NPP and the subcontractors’ staff as they enter the premises. These special devices are used to visualize heat fields in the real time remotely, log and store the images on a computer.

Rosatom: world’s only floating nuclear power plant enters full commercial exploitation
May 22, 2020 - One-of-a-kind floating nuclear power plant (FNPP) “Akademic Lomonosov” has been fully commissioned in Pevek, Chukotka region in the Russian Far East. Andrei Petrov, Director of Rosenergoatom (Electric Energy Division of Rosatom), the subsidiary responsible for the FNPP project implementation, signed the relevant decree.
