Atomenergoprom and Rosenergoatom Joint-Stock Company are joining the fiscal monitoring

Atomenergoprom and Rosenergoatom Joint-Stock Company, the affiliates of the Rosatom State Corporation, are joining the fiscal monitoring program in 2020. The resolution was executed on October 31, 2019, during the meeting between Alexey Likhachev, the CEO of the Rosatom State Corporation, and Mikhail Mishustin, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service.

As a part of the transition to the fiscal monitoring, the company is implementing a unified ‘Data Window’ platform that will enable the specialists of the Tax Service to control how the tax declarations are prepared and disclose the tax reports, including even the initial document. This tool will help reduce the number of requests and make them more specific.

‘Fiscal monitoring enables building transparent relations with the business. Besides, it’s beneficial for companies: they can always get a motivated opinion on each particular transaction, they save money on tax inspections, and the time for such inspections are more than three times shorter. It’s not difficult to evaluate the benefits of such open cooperation’, Mikhail Mishustin, the head of the Russian Federal Tax Service, said.

The decision to switch to the fiscal monitoring for the Rosatom State Corporation affiliates will help to simplify and digitize the collaboration with tax authorities. ‘Rosatom is one of the leaders in the digital transformation in the country and strives to support any innovations spurring internal efficiency. We expect that the fiscal monitoring system will enable us to reduce the costs for tax inspection administration. I’m pretty sure that Atomenergoprom and Rosenergoatom are just the first fruits among the nuclear power companies, and shortly this format will be adopted by other organizations in our industry’, Alexey Likhachev, the CEO of the Rosatom State Corporation, noted.
