The Rosenergoatom Joint-Stock Company (a part of Electric Power Division of the Rosatom State Corporation) will kick-off its online sales support system for the automated technical documentation control system – or an ‘E-shop’ – during the ATOMEXPO-2019 Forum.

This is the first large-scale project of such type for Rosenergoatom, and the initial main goal of this initiative was to unify the technical documentation management processes for all Russian nuclear power plants.

The ‘E-shop’ is designed to help novice nuclear power countries that are just forming their technical documentation basis during the nuclear power plants’ construction using Russian reactor designs.

This product is aimed at enabling foreign customers building NPPs according to the Russian designs to facilitate safe NPP operation at all stages of their life cycle. Additionally, this E-shop will help to substantially reduce the time lines and the costs for project implementation, optimize the process of obtaining applicable licenses and approvals from the national regulatory authorities.

For now, over 1100 reference documents along with their annotations have been prepared for the online upload. To make the process more convenient for foreign users, the E-shop has an option of transferring documents in English.

The Department of international business development of the Rosenergoatom Joint-Stock Company is the end customer of the e-shop, and the works were executed by the Department of IT projects management and integration, the Department of production planning, modernization and life extension, the Accounting department, and the Innovative Development Department of the Company.

Nexia Pacioli LLC was involved into the independent evaluation of the documents included into the e-shop, specifically by reviewing the reference documentation, while CJSC ‘Rossiyskaya Ocenka’ assisted by evaluating the completed R&D activities used to justify the safety of the technical solutions used when designing NPPs with VVER-type reactor units.
