Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC First Deputy General Director Vladimir Asmolov and Institute of Nuclear Branch Safety Development Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IBRAE RAS) Deputy Director Valery Strizhev arrived to Tokyo for rendering consulting assistance to the Japanese atomists and timely receipt of the information concerning the developments in the country.

Curently, Vladimir Asmolov is working in the Russian embassy in Tokyo. In the course of the day, he conducted a number of meetings with diplomats, visited WANO Tokyo centre and is waiting for visit of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) representatives to Japan to become involved in their work.
