Engineering Competition for schoolchildren "The Future of Russia" on profile "Nuclear Energy and Technology» takes place for the first time on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation in order to attract the interest of students to the engineering profession. Contest organizers are the MEPhI and the "Rosenergoatom".

The uniqueness of the Olympics is in the fact, that it is carried out on a profile, corresponding to the areas of training in high schools (large groups of specialties and areas) rather, than by subject area. This enables the student to choose not just a set of items of interest, but also the whole future profession and immerse themselves in its specificity through solving of specific engineering problems. Participation in the competition entitles students, who will become winners, to receive benefits for admission to the leading technical universities in Russia, as well as get additional points, when applying for targeted training from nuclear power stations in the profile fields.

Students from 10-11 grades are invited to take part in the competition. To participate you must register on the site http://br.susu.ru/, read the rules and pass the qualifying stage on the Internet in the allotted time (45 minutes) till 20 January 2015. Participants, who successfully pass the online stage, will receive an invitation from the organizers on internal finals with the date and venue. The final stage of the intramural Olympiad will be held in March 2015 and will take place in all cities of the location of nuclear power plants in Russia.
