The Novovoronezh NPP in October produced more than 1.02 billion. KWh

In October 2014 the Novovoronezh nuclear power plant produced 1020,9 million KWh. In grid it was allotted 948,2 million KWh.

Since the beginning of 2014 the Novovoronezh NPP has produced 1098,5 million KWh, or 99.76% of the planned target by FTS. In grid it was released 10199 million KWh.

The capacity factor from the beginning of the year has amounted to 80.88% (planned - 81.13%).

The power units ? 3, ? 4 and ? 5 of the Novovoronezh NPP work in the planned mode.

Average values of a radiation background in settlements of a 30-km zone round the Novovoronezhskaya nuclear power plant corresponded to level of natural background values, characteristic for the Central European Part of Russia.

Current information about a radiation situation near the nuclear power plant in Russia and other objects of the nuclear industry is provided on a site www.russianatom.ru.

The Novovoronezhskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located on the bank of the Don River in 42 km to the south of Voronezh. It is the Russia's first nuclear power plant with VVER reactors (water-to-water power reactors of case type with regular water under pressure). Each of five reactors of station is head – a prototype of serial power reactors: the power unit No. 1 with the VVER-210 reactor, the power unit No. 2 with the VVER-365 reactor, No. No. 3, 4 power units with VVER-440 reactors, the power unit No. 5 with the VVER-1000 reactor. The first power unit was launched in 1964, the second – in the 1969, third – in the 1971, fourth – the 1972, fifth – 1979.

There are three power units (power units (No No 1, 2 we're stopped in 1984 and 1990 years respectively) on work at the moment.
