The Kolskaya NPP produced 1097,6 million KWh of electricity in January 2015

The Kola NPP produced 1097,6 KWh of electricity in January 2015.

The NPP has generated 380,9 billion KWh of electricity since its laucnh.

There are all 4 power units in work at the moment. The nuclear power plant carries the load of 1503 MW according to the dispatch schedule. The radiation situation doesn't differ from natural natural background around an arrangement of the Kolskaya nuclear power plant and in a 30-kilometer zone of supervision.

The Kolskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in 200 km to the South from Murmansk on the shore of the Lake Imandra. It develops about 60% of the electric power in Murmansk region. There are 4 power units in operation with VVER reactors of 440 MW capacity each. The Kolskaya nuclear power plant is the supplier of the electric power for Murmansk region and Karelia.
