The Kalininskaya NPP power unit ?1 restarted after a planned maintenance

On November 23 the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant power unit ?1 was restarted after repairs on gas cooling system of the generator. Recall, that the power unit ?1 was stopped on November 22 on pre-filed and agreed in the prescribed manner application.

As of 8.00 November 24 there are three power units of the Kalininskaya NPP in work. At the power unit ?3 31 day of the planned maintenance began.

The radiation background on the nuclear power plant and around its arrangement is at the level corresponding to normal operation of power units, and doesn't exceed natural background values.

The Kalininskaya nuclear power plant is a branch of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom". The station is located in the north of the Tver region in the Udomelskiy area. There are four power units with water-cooled power reactors (VVER-1000) with installed capacity of 1000 MW each in the structure of the Kalininskaya nuclear power station.
