On November 26, 2014 it was made one of the most important stages of preparation for power start - setting turbine at shaft turning - at 18 o'clock on the launch power unit ?4 of the Beloyarsk NPP (Zarechny, Sverdlovsk region). Fully assembled turbine shaft has been given the rotation from staff barring gear.

The main purpose of performing this process step was to check the alignment of the flow part of the turbine, axial alignment and centering of the shaft turbine generator, matching this performance design requirements.

Prior to the beginning of this stage willingness of the mechanical turbine generator, electrical equipment and support systems was reached.

The Beloyarsk nuclear power plant was entered into work in April, 1964. It is the first nuclear power plant in big nuclear power of the country, and unique with reactors of different types on one platform. The first power units of the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant with reactors on thermal neutrons of AMB-100 and AMB-200 are stopped in connection with resource development. In operation there is the unique power unit in the world with the reactor on fast neutrons of an industrial power level of BN-600. In the stage of construction there is a power unit with the reactor on fast neutrons of BN-800. Power units on fast neutrons are urged to expand significantly fuel base of nuclear power and to minimize radioactive waste at the expense of the organization of the closed nuclear and fuel cycle.
