In April 2011, Novovoronezh NPP power units produced 595,978 M kWh of electric power. The plan of electric power production approved by the Federal Tariff Service of Russia was fulfilled by 131.85 %. In April, it was released 541,764 mln kWh of electric power or 137.50 % of the planned value to the power system.

On the whole, since the beginning of 2011, NVNPP produced 2395,847 mln kWh of electric power, or 127.71% of the FTS plan target. For the first quarter, 2175,954 mln kWh, or 132.52 % of the plan, was released to the power system. 

Novovoronezh NPP power units No 3 and No 4 were operating in standard conditions in April. Power unit No 5 was shut down for scheduled upgrade in September, 2010.

No violations of limits and conditions of safe operation of Novovoronezh NPP power units were registered. The radiation background in the area of the nuclear plant location and in the adjacent territory does not exceed the set standards of power units operation and corresponds to the natural environmental values.
