In January-February, 2011 at the construction site of Kalinin NPP power unit No. 4 the equipment schedule was fulfilled by 105% and the schedule of construction and installation work Р by 98%. This information was reported by NIAEP OJSC, the general contractor, in course of the scheduled meeting of operation headquarters held in Udomlya on March 10 of the current year.

At the meeting it was noted that in February fuel-handling machine installation (technological part) was completed in the main vessel, a portable part of main circulation pump (MCP) was mounted, the mounting of floor slabs at the mark +15.00 was completed. As well, 51 rooms were put in commission in accordance with the schedule.

On the first days of March the first diesel generator was installed at Kalinin NPP power unit No. 4 and the mounting of the second one were started.

Among the current month main events there is commissioning of the block pump station (BNS-4) and pump stations of cooling buildings of the responsible consumers in accordance with the working commissionsХ acts. Besides, it was scheduled to provide main circulating pump oil systems for oil supply, to install all the main circulating pump electric motors, and to complete the turbine vibration tests.

Besides, at the headquarters meeting it was announced about awarding of NIAEP OJSC and Udomlya branch employees with signs of distinction. In particular, Igor Kruuz, Udomlya Branch Director, was awarded an on-chest sign ТAcademician I. V. KurchatovУ of the 4th degree, for the high results reached in construction of Kalinin NPP power unit No.4, and introduction of Rosatom production system.
