The JSC ЗAtomEnergoSbyt" was given the status of guaranteeing supplier (GS) in the Murmansk region.

In the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation the results of the the competition, announced in September 2014, to acquire the status of the guaranteeing supplier of the Murmansk Region have been summed up. As the result the "AtomEnergoSbyt" was declared as the winner and will serve as the GS within the boundary of the activities of the former provider - the JSC "IDGC of North-West". The corresponding order was signed by the Energy Minister Alexander Novak.

According to the General Director of the JSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" Igor Bykov, the priorities in the region will be a balance of interests between the participants of the energy market and consumers, providing all types of reliable and quality power supply, as well as customer-oriented company policy, both in terms of the regulated activities and in the competitive sector.

"The company has developed special approaches to the problems of the region, expectations and related social issues. To ensure the interests of government, business and the public the fruitful dialogue with the regional administration has been established. It's safe to say that with the advent of the "AtomEnergoSbyt" consumers of the Murmansk region will receive competent, responsible and highly qualified provider, representing the electricity division of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom" - the ЗRosenergoatom Concern", - he said.

Earlier in 2014, the status of guaranteeing supplier was assigned to the JSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" in Smolensk, Tver and Kursk regions.

The JSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" sells more than 16 billion of KWh of electric energy to 38.3 thousand businesses and 1.6 million individuals, as well as heat and management of the housing stock in the satellite towns of nuclear power plants.

The JSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" is a Power Supply Company of the JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom", it provides electricity for the State Atomic Energy Corporation ЗRosatom" enterprises. In 2014 the JSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" was given the status of the guaranteeing supplier in the Kursk, Tver and Smolensk regions. At present the JSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" is serving enterprises of Russian nuclear industry in the Central, North-Western, Volga, Ural and Siberian federal districts.
