Russian NPPs increased generation by almost 4.7% for nine months of 2021

Russian nuclear power plants (branches of Rosenergoatom) increased electricity generation by 4.67% in the first nine months of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020.

The output for the first nine months of this year amounted to over 161.1 billion kilowatt-hours, which is 2.04% higher than the balance target of the FAS of Russia.

Electricity generation at NPPs in excess of the FAS balance target for nine months amounted to 3.2 billion kWh.

Due to the operation of the nuclear power plant for 9 months of 2021, they prevented the emissions of more than 80 million tons of greenhouse gases into the air.
