Rosenergoatom has become a platinum winner of the international competition of electronic communications DotCOMM Awards 2017

Rosenergoatom Concern has received two platinum awards in the international competition DotCOMM Awards 2017 in categories dedicated to corporative media: eAnnual Report and eCommunication (Annual Report, email etc.).

This is first Concern’s award in this international competition.

DotCOMM Awards is the competition honoring achievements of companies around the world in the area of electronic communications. Projects of different companies are dedicated to web tools developed by PR agencies and communication departments of the companies, advertising agencies, etc. Awards are given by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (www.amcpros.com). This international organization unites several thousand professionals in the area of marketing, communications, advertisement, public relations, electronic media, etc. More than 2,000 entries from the USA, Canada and other countries took part in DotCOMM Awards 2017.

In 2017 the integrated annual report of Rosenergoatom Concern has also become a platinum winner of the international competition Hermes Creative Awards 2017 in the category Publications/Annual report. In 2016 Rosenergoatom annual report was given gold awards of the international competition LACP 2016 Spotlight Awards and two silver awards of LACP 2016 Impact Awards; the Concern received gold award of LACP 2015 Vision Awards, as well as platinum awards of the marketing communication competition MarCom Awards. In 2016 the Concern’s annual report took the 1st place in the industry competition of public reporting among Rosatom State Corporation organizations.

The Rosenergoaton Concern (the power division of the Rosatom State Corporation) includes 10 Russian nuclear power stations bearing the status of the Concern’s affiliate companies, along with the vendors catering for the needs of the generation company. All in all, the 10 nuclear power stations operate 35 power blocks* (*excluding the Novovoronezh NPP’s 6th power block being at the pilot production stage): 18 of them operate VVER reactors (12 VVER-1000 power blocks and 5 VVER-440 power blocks of different modifications); 15 of them with channel reactors (11 power blocks with RMBK-1000 reactors, four power blocks with EGP-6 reactors); and 2 power blocks with fast neutron sodium cooling reactors (BN-600 and BN-800).

At the moment, the Rosenergoatom NPPs account for 18% of the whole electricity output in the country.
