This rating is conventionally compiled on a quarterly and annual basis to evaluate and benchmark the generating companies’ efficiency based on 4 criteria: maintaining the generation equipment operational, workload optimization, costs per unit, profit per one output unit.
The Concern has been announced the leading generating company in terms of efficiency for the 4th time in a row.
According to the list, Rosenergoatom has also demonstrated incredible results in Q4 2015, moving from the 4th place to the 1st place compared to Q4 2014.

* As a part of the companies’ market efficiency analysis, the “NP Market Council” compiles the ratings for the Russian Federation subjects and wholesale and retail electricity market players. One of those is the “Generating companies: market efficiency” rating aimed at analyzing and benchmarking the efficiency of the generating companies operating within the wholesale market pricing zones based on their ability to maintain the generation equipment operational, workload optimization, costs per unit, and profit per one output unit. This rating is drafted following those criteria with due account for the weighting factors: maintaining the generation equipment operational (weighting factor of 35%); capacity utilization factor (weighting factor of 15%); costs of 1 megawatt-hour power production (weighting factor of 25%); profit margin per 1 megawatt-hour output (weighting factor of 25%).

The ratings and the calculation methodologies are available at the AIS REM (http://www.ais.np-sr.ru) website supported by the “NP Market Council” Association.
