Rosenergoatom: the presentation of the documentary devoted to the 25th anniversary of Chernobyl events was held on April 21

On April 21, 2011 the presentation of the documentary “Monologues of Chernobyl. Chronicles. Thoughts. Conclusions” with the participation of supervisors and employees of Rosenergoatom Concern, branch enterprises as well as veterans-atomists and the youth was organized in the assembly hall of All-Russian Research Institute for the Operation of Nuclear Power Plants.

The film, devoted to the 25th anniversary of Chernobyl accident, narrates of the events of 1986 and was created by those who had directly participated in the consequences liquidation. 

Appearing at the audience, the author of “Monologues of Chernobyl” Vladimir Gubarev said: “We intended to tell about Chernobyl not in the way it had been told about before. Those people had not been known as heroes for a long time, and we attempted to correct this mistake”.

After the film show was over, Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC First Deputy General Director Vladimir Asmolov said: “People from different places of the country, from different organizations came to Chernobyl, and they left it as a solid united team. That is what we wanted to show”.

In his turn, Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC General Director expressed great gratitude to everybody who had worked on the film creation using the Concern finance support. “It is very honest and essential. It is important that all the country should see it”, the Concern Head underlined.
