During the centuries the Army and Navy have protected freedom and independence of Russia. And today, in our difficult and contradictory time, our military strength is the main guarantee of our safety and peaceful life on the planet. Speaking about the Army we often recall the words: “There is a profession  - to defend the homeland”.

But February 23 is not only military men’s holiday. Motherland defense is a duty and a matter of honor for each its citizen. This holiday is highly symbolical for everyone who is always ready to be the protection and reliable support for its homeland, family, nearest and dearest. 

All activity of nuclear scientists is an area of special service, very close to the military one. If we draw an analogy with the military oath, we have our own “sacred duty” before Russia – safe and reliable operation of NPPs. That’s why I wish all employees and veterans of Rosenergoatom Concern achievements in work, good health and courage! I wish peace and prosperity to your families!
