Konstantinov Nikita Igorevich


Nikita Konstantinov was born in 1966 in Severodvinsk, Russia.


Nikita joined Rusatom Energy International, a holding company for the Rosatom’s nuclear power plants Build-Own-Operate projects in Finland and Turkey in 2015 as the Director General. Since January 2017 he is serving as the Deputy CEO and Business Development Director of Rosenergoatom.


Nikita Konstantinov has more than thirty years of experience in the nuclear and power industry. 


Nikita began his career in 1986 as the health physicist at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.


Between 1994 and 2006 Nikita held strategic positions at the international organizations, running projects and funds in the field of nuclear safety at the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London. 


From 2006 to 2008 and 2010 – 2013 Nikita Konstantinov was acting as the First Vice-President and then a President and CEO of the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom.” 


From 2010 to 2013, Nikita was holding the post of Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine and was a Director for Strategic Policy, Investment and Nuclear Energy Complex of the Ministry. 


Nikita graduated from Obninsk Institute for Nuclear Power Engineering (1989) with an engineer degree in “NPP and nuclear installations.” Nikita also holds a postgraduate diploma in economics from the University of London.

In 2018 he was awarded a “Medal of Merit” of Rosenergoatom of the third category.
