Sarayev Oleg MakarovichDeputy Director General-Director for New Technological Platform. Oleg Makarovich Sarayev was born in the village of Yeminskoye, Biysk district, Altai region, in 1940. In 1965 he graduated from the “Design and Operation of Nuclear Power Units” Department of Tomsk Polytechnic Institute. In 1957 he was in the Berezovskaya Expedition exploration crew No 14. In 1959-1960 he was operator at the enterprise PO 47, in 1960-1962 – driller at Sibelektromotor Plant (Tomsk). In 1966-2002 he was engineer, mechanic, the senior engineer of the technological department, the shift manager of the reactor-turbine department No 1 (RTD-1), the shift manager of the reactor-turbine department No 2, shift manager, the deputy head of RTD-1, the head of RTD-1, the deputy chief engineer for the operation of the 1st and 2nd units, the deputy chief engineer for scientific work, the chief engineer, the director of Beloyarsk NPP (Zarechny, Sverdlovsk). In 2002 Sarayev was appointed as the President, the Director General, the Deputy Director General for Innovative Projects, the Deputy Director General-the Director for New Technological Platform of Energoatom Concern OJSC. He has been awarded “Energoatom Concern OJSC”’s Medal “For Contribution to NPP Safety Enhancement,” Medal “For Distinguished Labor,” “Red Banner” Order, State Prize of USSR, “Veteran of Labor” Medal, “Rosenergoatom”’s Medal “50th Anniversary of the Nuclear Power Industry of Russia” and Rosatom’s Certificate of Merit. Sarayev is Veteran of the Nuclear Power Industry.
