Safronov Nikolay Nikolayevich

Deputy Director General-Director for Special Safety.

Nikolay Nikolayevich Safronov was born in Lebyazhye, Verkhnee Tavdino district, Sverdlovk region, in 1958.

In 1984 he graduated from the “Law” Department of the Higher School of KGB of USSR.

In 1975-1976 he was inspector at Arsenal Plant (Kyiv).

In 1976-1997 he served in the Armed Forces and the National Security Service of USSR and Russian Federation.

Since 1997 Safronov has been the Deputy Director General, the Deputy Director General for Coordination with the CIS and Eastern Europe, the Deputy Executive Director for Safety, the Deputy Director for Special Safety, the Deputy Director General-the Director for Special Safety of Energoatom Concern OJSC (Rosenergoatom Concern FSUE, before corporization).

Safronov has been awarded “Rosenergoatom”’s Medal “For Contribution to NPP Safety Enhancement.”
