Pozdyshev Erik NikolayevichInspector General of Energoatom Concern OJSC. Erik Nikolayevich Pozdyshev was born in Krasnoyarsk in 1937. In 1960 he graduated from the “Physics” Department of Leningrad State University. In 1960-1971 he was engineer, senior engineer, deputy shift manager, shift manager at Mining Chemical Combine (Krasnoyarsk-26). In 1971-1979 he was the shift manager of the reactor department, the deputy head of the reactor department of Leningrad NPP (Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad region). In 1976-1979 Pozdyshev was the chief operation engineer of Kursk NPP (Kurchatov, Kursk region).
In 1979-1986 Pozdyshev was the Head of the Technical Department, the Deputy Head of “Soyuzatomenergo” All-Union Production Association of the Ministry of Energy of USSR (Moscow). In 1987-1992 he was the Head of the Chief Dispatching Control Department, the Deputy Minister of Atomic Energy (Moscow). In 1992 Pozdyshev was appointed as the President, the Vice President-the Inspector General, the Deputy Director General-the Inspector General of Energoatom Concern OJSC (Rosenergoatom Concern FSUE, before corporization) (Moscow). Pozdysev has been awarded the Order of Lenin, the Order “Badge of Honor,” the Medal “For Valiant Labor,” the Medal “In Memory of 580th Anniversary of Moscow,” “Rosenergoatom”’s Medal “For Contribution of NPP Safety Enhancement,” the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Atomic Energy of Russia.
