Deputy Director General-Director of Rostov Nuclear Power Plant.

Alexander Vasilyevich Palamarchuk was born in Onega, Arkhangelsk region, in 1960.

In 1980 he graduated from the “Nuclear Power Plants” Department of Odessa Polytechnic Institute.

In 1980-1983 he was senior operating engineer of the reactor department of Armenian NPP (Metsamor, Armenian SSR).

In 1983-1999 he was the water treatment operator of the reactor department, the senior operator of the reactor department, the shift manager of the reactor department, the deputy head of the reactor department, the deputy chief engineer-the head of the 6th unit of Zaporizhia NPP (Energodar, Zaporizhya region).

In 1999-2001 he was the chief engineer of the Directorate for Rostov NPP Construction of the Ministry of Atomic Energy of Russia (Volgodonsk, Rostov region).

Since 2001 Palamarchuk has been the Chief Engineer, the Acting Director, the Director, the Deputy Director General of “Rosenergoatom” Concern-the Director of Volgodonsk NPP.

Palamarchuk has been awarded “Rosenergoatom”’s Medal “For Contribution to NPP Safety Enhancement,” the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Atomic Energy of the Russian Federation and the Medal “For Services to the Motherland 2nd Class.”
