Apkaneyev Alexander Vasilyevich

First Deputy Director General of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC

Alexander Vasilyevich Apkaneyev was born in Chelyabinsk in 1960

In 1983 he graduated from “Automated Control Systems” Department of Moscow Physical-Technical Institute.

In 1983-1985 he was engineer at the Institute of Management Problems of the Academy of Sciences of USSR (Moscow).

In 1988-1994 he was probationer, assistant, engineer, embassy assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR and then at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In 1994-1995 Apkaneyev was the head of the Securities Department of “Kalita” Investment-Financial Company.

In 1995-1999 he was the Director General of “National Investment Syndicate” CJSC, the Deputy Director General of “Ergomash” CJSC.

In 1999-2000 Apkaneyev was the Financial Director, the Deputy Director General of Transneft Trade House Ltd.

In 2000 he was appointed as the President of Dortransavto.

In 2001-2002 he was the Head of the Motor Road Operation and Maintenance Department of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

In 2002-2004 Apkaneyev was the Director General of FSUE “Russian Road Leasing Company.”

In 2004-2006 he was the Financial Director of Unidell Story Ltd.

In 2006 he was the Deputy Head of the Economy and Corporate Planning Department of TVEL OJSC.

The same year Apkaneyev was appointed as the advisor to the Director General, the Deputy Director General-the Director for Economy, the Deputy Director General-the Director for Economy and Sales, and in 2007 – the Deputy Director General-the Director for Economy, Finance and Sales of “Rosenergoatom” Concern.”

From Nov 2007 till Jan 2009 Apkaneyev was Deputy Director of Atomenergoprom OJSC.
