At the construction site of the Leningrad NPP-2 swing work on the construction of building structures of the reactor building ?1 is in full: on October 7 specialists of the "Metrostroy" completed concreting of the inner containment dome (IC) from mark of 55.30 to reach 57.30. Thus, building the equator in the concreting of the dome has successfully passed.

Currently, measures on taken care of concrete are being done, the main purpose of which is to ensure optimal temperature and humidity conditions for safety. In accordance with the construction schedule concreting of the dome IC will be completed in the I quarter of 2015.

At the construction site of the Leningrad NPP-2 (power units ?1 and ?2) works are carried out on 129 sites. The main efforts of the builders are focused on the construction of the first and second power units buildings. In the reactor compartment and engine room of the first power unit installation of basic equipment is being continued. The engine room of the power unit ?2 works on commissioning of lifting devices, as well as work on the foundation for the turbine, are being done.

Construction of the Leningrad NPP-2 is part of a long-term program of activities of the State Corporation "Rosatom". Customer-developer of the project is the JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern".

The general contractor for the project is the JSC "Atomenergoproekt".

General subcontractor is the JSC "Concern Titan-2".

General designer is the JSC "ATOMPROEKT."

On February 12, 2010 the Technical Supervisory Authority issued a license (? GN 02-101-2277) for the construction of the power unit ?1 of the Leningrad NPP-2 nuclear installation (valid - till 31.03.2018) and the license (? GN 02-101-2276) on construction of the power unit ?2 of the Leningrad NPP-2 nuclear installation (valid - till 07.14.2019).
