Rostov NPP: the plan of February is executed on 103,5 %

Rostov NPP fulfilled the February schedule on electric power production by 103.5%. At the scheduled volume of 1,353.0 B kWh of electric power, in fact the two power units produced 1,398.4 B kWh. 

The utilization factor of maximum capacity in February was equal to 104.05%, and the scheduled one of 100.52%. 

Totally, since the year beginning, the two Rostov NPP power units have produced 2,915.5 B kWh of electric power, and since the nuclear plant start-up – about 81.5 B kWh (as on March 1).

Daily Rostov NPP output is equal to about 50 M kWh of electric power.

Rostov NPP is a branch of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The nuclear power plant is located on the bank of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir 13.5 km far from Volgodonsk city. The nuclear plant has two operating power units of VVER-1000-type reactors with the installed capacity of 1000 MW. Power unit No. 1 was put into commercial operation in 2001, power unit No 2 – in December, 2010.
